Brief Bio Zafar M. Yuldashev is a Ph.D. (1983) and Doctor of Engineering Sciences (1999), Professor (2001), since 2013 Head of the Department of Bioengineering Systems at Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University “LETI”, Head of the Russian Educational-Methodical Counsel “Bioengineering Systems and Technologies”. The field of scientific interests is Biomedical engineering, research and development of hardware-software complexes for medical purposes, remote monitoring and control of the patient’s health state. Z. Yuldashev developed and supervised several Bachelor’s and Master’s educational programs such as “Systems and Technologies of Digital Health Care”, “High-tech Medical Systems and Complexes, “Bioengineering Systems and Technologies for Medical Rehabilitation”.

	Vladimir Kublanov Ural Federal University Russia

Brief Bio Vladimir S. Kublanov is Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor, Head of the Research Engineering Center of High Technologies in Medicine and Biology of the Ural Federal University. He developed the theory and techniques of mobile multifactorial neuroelectrostimulation of the neck nerve formations. V. Kublanov is the author and co-author of more than 300 scientific works, papers and 56 patents. Field of interest is devices, systems and technologies of medical purposes.

Brief Bio Sergei V. Selishchev is Ph.D. (1985) and Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1989), Professor (1993), since 1990 Head of the Department of Theoretical and Experimental Physics at Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology (“MIET”), since 2008 Director of Institute of Biomedical Systems at the MIET. S. Selishchev developed the first Russian electromechanical device for assisted circulation of the left ventricle of the human heart LVAD "Sputnik" with implantable rotary blood pump, electronic control and power management information system. The field of his interest – biomedical electronics, medical diagnostic and therapeutic systems, biomedical signal processing. S. Selishchev is Senior Member of IEEE, Editor-in-chief of the journal “Biomedical Engineering” published by Springer and included in the SCOPUS citation database.

SCOPE

Technologies for remote monitoring and management of human health are becoming widespread in the health care system. Long-term continuous monitoring of the state of human health makes it possible to identify individual patterns of changes in the functional state of the body systems, the interaction of various organism systems, to clarify the adaptive mechanisms of the whole organism under the influence of various exogenous factors. To implement long-term remote monitoring and control of a person's state, it is necessary to develop and use non-invasive methods and means of biomedical signals and data acquisition, methods for extracting useful information reflecting changes in organism systems, the formation of a complex of diagnostically significant indicators and an integral assessment of the state of the body. Among the methods of managing the state of a person, the methods of neurostimulation of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, which will expand the possibilities of medical rehabilitation in remote control systems, are of the greatest interest. These issues will be discussed at a Special Session on Remote Management and Health Monitoring – RMHM.
