Special Session on
Non-invaisive Neuro-stimulation in Neurorehabilitation Tasks
 - NNSNT 2019

22 - 24 February, 2019 - Prague, Czech Republic

Within the 12th International Joint Conference on Biomedical Engineering Systems and Technologies - BIOSTEC 2019

CHAIR

Vladimir Kublanov
Research Medical and Biological Engineering Centre of High Technologies, Ural Federal University
Russian Federation

Brief Bio
Vladimir S. Kublanov is Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor, Head of the Research Engineering Center of High Technologies in Medicine and Biology of the Ural Federal University. He developed the theory and techniques of mobile multifactorial neuroelectrostimulation of the neck nerve formations. V. Kublanov is the author and co-author of more than 300 scientific works, papers and 56 patents. Field of interest is devices, systems and technologies of medical purposes.

SCOPE

Among the leading causes of disability and high mortality are diseases of the central nervous system that are accompanied by cognitive, sensor, motor and autonomic disorders. For treatment of such diseases pharmacological methods are not always in conformity with the contemporary requirements of efficacy and safety of health care. New technologies for neuroprotection are emerging, based on application of different physical fields for formation of the neuromodulation as well as methods for its visualization. Especially promising is combined application. Participation in this Special Session of scientist, involved in various research directions of neuro-stimulation theory and techniques, will allow formulating new strategies for treatment process, aimed to minimize health risks for each person, based on personalized strategies of prevention and therapy
