SCOPE
Key question: How to achieve precise and effective wound therapy?
Chronic wounds (e.g., diabetic ulcers, venous leg ulcers, pressure injuries) are extremely difficult to treat, making them one of the most challenging health issues. This workshop aims to demonstrate advanced strategies and technologies for precise and effective wound therapy, which include preventing wound occurrence, monitoring wound healing progress, and accelerating wound regeneration.
TOPICS OF INTEREST
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Big data collection for patients with high risk factors to develop chronic wounds
- Approaches and technologies to monitor biosignals prior to the occurrence of wounds
- Strategies to prevent the occurrence of chronic wounds
- Approaches and technologies to monitor key biomarkers in the wound progression
- Strategies and techniques for wound healing and regeneration
- Assessing therapeutic efficacy by providing quantitative readouts and standardized parameters
- Good clinical practices for wound care
- Virtual methods to mimic the wound healing and regeneration process
- Virtual methods to assess therapeutic efficacy after intervention
- Multiomics for wound occurrence, healing, and regeneration
